Oral Appliances

                               Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Dr. Levine is a member of  the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine  (www.aadsm.org)  and  is experienced in working with clients for Sleep and Snoring. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is the direct result of a resticted airway. This often happens when the tongue and soft palate collapse onto the back of  the throat.

Oral Appliance Therapy is indicated for patients with mild and moderate OSA who have not responded well to behavioral   measures or nasal CPAP. The oral device is similar to an orthodontic retainer. It helps to prevent a collapse of the tongue and soft tissues, keeping the airway open during sleep.

Dr Levine and Team are members of the Somnomed Academy and have taken extensive training in this and other sleeping  devices.  Please go to
www.somnomed.com for further information.

We are available for consultation before or after your over night sleep test.   Have your doctor call us.
